About Maryfield USA

In 1947, five Sisters of the Poor Servants of the Mother of God from England and Ireland traveled to the United States. With little more than a dream and a whole lot of faith, they opened a 22-bed nursing home in the convent where they stayed. This was Maryfield USA.

Six decades later, the expanded continuing care retirement community offers a variety of active lifestyle, assisted living, and full care choices. The entire 71-acre campus is now called Pennybyrn at Maryfield USA, the premier provider of long-term care in the Triad region of North Carolina. Every day, residents, staff and visitors see how we weave our spirituality into our interactions, preserving the dignity of those we serve by showing our warm hospitality and culture of caring.
